From the moment the microwave door opens, we used precise rotoscoping and compositing to integrate the chaotic swarm of gnats into the environment, creating transitions that tied the real world to the digital action. Our team built dynamic CGI environments and simulated the intricate movements of the bat swarm, while color grading and editorial pacing amplified the song’s dark humor and urgency. Every frame was designed to feel both grounded and wildly imaginative.
